Sage

When I'm with my human family I love to cuddle next to them. I love to be with mommy at all times whatever she is doing i will follow her. I love anyone who loves me!

I love to play with my little foster brothers, we tackle all day and run around the house chasing each other. I love playing fetch and i'm pretty good at tugawar too. I love bones and I even let my little brothers chew on them with me at the same time!!

I make my family laugh when I have doggy dreams, its really cute. I also LOVE car rides, I stick my head out the window and let my ears flap in the wind.

My favorite game with my canine friends is run around and tackle. When I get really silly I race around the couches like a spaz and then switch directions.

In case you're wondering, I do ask to go out when I gotta go., I do very well in a crate.

People tell me that Im more adoptable if I know things. Here are the commands that I've already learned - sit, lay down, heel, focus, shake, dance, and I do very well with the stay command. I'm a very smart girl and all I want to do is please my family and get praise.

My foster family knows me pretty well and they think the perfect family for me would be one that gives me lots and lots of love!! I can never get enough attention, and if you forget i will just jump on your lap and remind you to love me. I live in a condo with my foster parents and do great. I love going outside but also I am just as happy staying inside with my family.

Geez - I almost forgot to tell you that I am SO sweet, everyone that comes over always give my mommy compliments on how well behaved I am.

Please note that Pit Bull Rescue San Diego does not adopt on a first come first served basis. Generally we have formed an opinion about the sort of home that we want for each of the dogs in our program. This opinion is formed from knowing each dog and observing their interactions in various situations and through periodic evaluations. Our goal is to place our charges in the home that is the best possible for that particular dog. Our only goal is happiness and forever homes for our dogs. A forever home is most likely to happen when we do the best we can to find lifestyles and personalities that match.

We are aware that this is a human process and that you may or may not agree with our decisions. Please understand that we take very seriously the lives placed in our hands for this brief time and our decisions are only made out of protectiveness for the breed and the specific dogs we are placing and not out of any judgment of you or your life.
